When a buyer or seller contacts your website, Blade can draft the first SMS for your team to review. Choose Approval, Auto or Manual Mode to fit how your agents work.

Stay with your client.
Keep the next lead in view.

You might be showing a home, meeting a seller, or driving to your next appointment. When a new website lead comes in, your team needs to see what they asked and who should follow up.

Blade starts with the lead’s message. In Approval Mode, someone on your team reads the first draft, edits it if needed, and approves or rejects it. Website leads can come in around the clock; outgoing texts follow your quiet-hour settings.

Blade helps with that first reply. Your agents answer questions about the home, schedule showings, advise clients, and guide the transaction.

Choose how
the first text goes out.

Choose the level of help that fits your team. You can review a draft, use eligible automatic texts on a validated Growth setup, or have your agents handle outreach themselves.

  • Approval ModeRead, edit, approve, or reject the first draft. The text goes out only after a person approves it. First-SMS approval is included in Starter and Growth.
  • Auto Mode · Validated Growth setupAfter we validate your Growth setup, Blade can send eligible SMS and ask agreed follow-up questions within your messaging rules. An agent steps in when the lead needs a person.
  • Manual ModeBlade summarizes the message and alerts your team. AI outbound SMS stays off, and your agents handle outreach.

Make the first reply
count.

Start with what they asked and one useful next question. A buyer might need to confirm the area they’re looking in. A seller might need to share the property address. When they need advice or are ready to talk through a decision, an agent takes over.

On Growth, SMS qualification can gather more details using the questions agreed during setup. Your team receives the original message and key details in Slack. CRM sync, when set up for your account, can save the qualification summary and final text conversation on the existing lead record.

Get the settings right.
Then go live.

We confirm your features, connect your website form, and test your setup before activation. SMS requires a verified sender, consent, quiet hours, and opt-out handling. A contact who texts STOP is opted out of automated qualification.

Your team reviews AI output, and your agents remain responsible for the conversation. Messaging settings support your process but do not guarantee legal compliance. The Privacy Policy explains how lead information is handled.

We estimate 3–4 business days for Starter setup or 5–6 for Growth after we receive the required access. During the demo, we confirm what your plan includes and what needs to be set up.

Example: a buyer asks for a showing

Illustrative example: a website visitor asks to see a home on Oak Street this weekend. A useful first reply acknowledges the property and asks what time would work. It leaves availability for an agent to confirm.

In Approval Mode, your team checks the draft before any SMS is sent. The agent can then confirm the listing details and arrange the showing. This example is not a live conversation or an automatically booked appointment.

What to check before the first SMS

  • The actual questionUse the lead’s message and known details. Do not promise a price, property availability or an appointment that an agent has not confirmed.
  • The sending settingsConfirm the reply mode, sender, consent and quiet hours. In Approval Mode, the team must approve the first draft before sending.
  • Who follows upDecide who reads the alert, handles edits and makes the next call. An AI draft is useful only when the team knows who owns the conversation.

Real estate lead response: common questions

Can my team approve every first SMS?

Yes. First-SMS approval is included in Starter and Growth. In Approval Mode, someone reviews the draft and approves or rejects it before the message goes out.

What happens to a lead that arrives after hours?

Website leads can be captured around the clock. Outgoing texts follow the quiet hours agreed during setup. Capturing a lead and sending a text are separate steps.

Does Blade confirm showings or listing availability?

Your agent confirms property details, availability and appointments. Blade supports the first reply and handoff; it does not replace your agent’s judgment or confirm a showing in this workflow.
