Qualify buyer and seller leads.
Know what to ask next.
Give your agent the buyer’s needs, the seller’s plans and the questions still open. Blade summarizes the first message; a validated Growth setup can gather more details through agreed SMS questions.
Lead summaries · SMS qualification on Growth
What they’ve shared.
What to ask next.
Start with what
they’ve already told you.
One buyer knows their price range and wants to move this summer. A homeowner is just starting to think about listing. Your agent needs a different starting point for each conversation.
Blade pulls together whether they’re buying or selling, their timeline, any budget details, and how soon they need help. It also highlights what still needs asking. Your agent reviews the summary and confirms the details with the lead.
Starter includes a summary of the first message and approval of the first SMS. Growth adds ongoing SMS qualification, with follow-up questions agreed and tested for your account before activation.
Buying or selling?
Ask the right next question.
Keep the questions relevant to what they’ve shared. A buyer may still need to name a neighborhood. A seller may need to confirm when they want to list. Each answer should help your agent prepare for the call.
| Lead type | Useful details | Before the call |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer | Preferred area, price range, must-haves, moving timeline | Review what they’ve shared about location, budget, must-haves, and timing. |
| Seller | Property location, selling plans, timeline | Review where the property is and when they’re thinking about selling. |
These are examples of details to gather. We agree on the questions and test the enabled features with your account before activation. The exact wording depends on the conversation. Your agents handle property advice and decisions.
Know when it’s time
for an agent to step in.
The goal is to get your agent ready for a useful conversation. On Growth, Blade can flag a lead who needs an agent and share the details gathered so far.
A question about a specific home, a request for advice, or an unclear answer may need a personal response. Your agent checks the details and takes it from there. A qualification summary does not guarantee that someone will buy or sell.
Your team receives the lead’s message and details in Slack. On Growth, we can set up CRM sync to save the qualification summary and final text conversation in a dedicated Blade field on the existing lead record.
You set the rules.
Your agents stay involved.
Choose Approval, Auto, or Manual Mode for outreach. Ongoing AI SMS qualification is available on Growth after account validation. Starter includes the initial summary and first-SMS approval.
Your website form supplies SMS consent. During setup, we check your sender verification, quiet hours, and STOP opt-outs. In Manual Mode, your agents handle outreach themselves. Your team reviews AI output and remains responsible for the conversation.
Bring a typical buyer or seller message to the demo. We’ll show you how replies are reviewed, which details your agents receive, and how the handoff works. You can also review first-response options and Starter and Growth pricing.
Example: the timeline is clear, the budget is not
Illustrative example: a buyer says they need a three-bedroom home near their new job and hope to move in August. The summary can record the home size and timing. Their price range remains unknown until they share it.
An agreed follow-up question might ask which price range they are considering. The agent receives both the answers and the gaps, so the next call starts with context rather than assumptions.
A useful qualification summary includes
- What the person actually sharedKeep the original message beside the buyer’s preferences or seller’s plans. Treat any AI interpretation as something the agent should review.
- What is still unknownAn unstated budget, property address or timeline is a question to ask, not a detail to invent. Do not infer that a person is ready to transact from one short message.
- The next human stepShow what the agent should clarify on the call. Questions about value, financing, availability or representation need an appropriate human response.
Real estate lead qualification: common questions
Does Starter include ongoing SMS qualification?
Starter includes the initial message summary and first-SMS approval. Ongoing AI SMS qualification is available on Growth after the account’s questions and messaging setup are validated.
Can we choose different questions for buyers and sellers?
Yes. The questions are agreed during setup. Buyers may be asked about location, price range and timing; sellers about the property and selling plans. Enabled questions are tested before activation.
What if the buyer hasn’t shared a budget?
The price range stays unknown until the buyer supplies it. The agent can review the original message and ask a relevant next question. A summary should distinguish shared details from unanswered questions.
